Kind of sucked this week, unfortunately. Game two taught me an important lesson though: Katy Perry music makes you bowl like crap.
- It's funny because he was a carpenter.
- The important points to know about this are a) the Tuareg rebels were supported by the Qaddafi regime in Libya, and are widely believed to have made up part of his mercenaries; b) with the fall of Qaddafi, they've been able to grab large quantities of weapons and use them against poorly trained and armed fighters in the Malian army; c) within days of the junta taking control of Mali, the Tuareg rebels gained ground, despite the junta claiming that they would ensure the rebels were defeated. The good thing is that they've realized they've only made things worse, and are working to move Mali back to democratic control, given that Mali was widely celebrated as making decent progress after years of dictatorship.
