Saturday: Museum day!

I woke up later than I wanted, but I still had three hours to explore the Princeton Art Museum when I got there.

That looks familiar.

I like animal shaped vessels.

I'm a bit torn on having mummies on display.

That.  Is not.  A dolphin.

Michael.

I probably could have spent more time there, which is a good thing.  After walking around the museum with a grumbly tumbly, I wanted something to eat.

Brisket, gravy, mac and cheese, cheese, grilled onions, with a side of dipping tomato soup.
The grilled cheese store is good.

I dumped Cloyster in a gym.

And finally caught a Buneary.

Thursday: art museum

SF MoMA again.

 I like art.
 My favorite Ellsworth Kelly.
A cheese plate, outside, where it was cold, between art.
 Art spiders.
The exhibit I was hoping to see.
 More leftovers.
I've finally finished the first omnibus volume of Sandman.

Saturday: Museum day.

Again.  Because they have a new exhibition that I wanted to see.

I should just accept that they're never going to have the tasty mushroom pasta again.

And drown my disappointment in chocolate.
They didn't allow photos in the exhibition gallery.
So I had to be careful.

And only took pictures of the introduction.
It was good.  I spent about an hour going through it.

And then scanned through the rest of things.  It's still mostly the same.

They still have the tiger

and dragon gallery.

The medieval gallery was closed.
I noticed there was water damage/paint issues in the ceiling last time.  I assume this is work to fix that issue.

The park across the street is also open again.  I'm not totally sure what they did.

Saturday: Well,

"Why not go to the Spalding House?"  So I do.  "Huh, why is the parking lot so empty?"  Go inside.  "Sorry, all the art stuff is closed for an exhibition switch.  The less cool outside stuff is still open."  So it's good that it's free when you have a membership.

Outside art stuff.

A tiny lizard friend.  Like super tiny.

Outside stuff.
So now what?
Pizza time.
And then I came home, and instead of going for a walk like I had originally planned, I watched youtube stuff.  Then remembered I could watch tomorrow's episode of the AH Game of Thrones play through, even though I don't really care about GoT.  The only problem of not watching on youtube is that I can't watch at double speed.  So.

Thursday: SF MoMA

I woke up this morning to this:
Wait, what?
It turns out that if you jump too much on the surface of the home pond, where you think everything is super safe, you can get eaten by a Pidgeotto.  I have the lockscreen disabled on my tablet, and the random jostling of the tablet by my pillow was enough to do the jumps necessary to get my Magikarp eaten.
I guess I get an event from it.
 But anyway, SF MoMA:
Spiegel, Blutrot.
 A puzzle:
This photo of a Pollack didn't register as "proper art".

But this one, a photo of the interior of a building did.
So I don't know what my point is.  I don't think I have a good split point on what counts.
I want to do a simulation of this one.  I'm not sure if it's the same way this was generated, but it looks like the curvature of the component lines decreases in the "light space", which makes sense.  A low curvature line would leave the region quickly, but the high curvature line largely stays put.

5-7-9-11-13.
 Then lunch.
It was pretty eclectic.  It was all pretty good, but the picked veggies weren't my favorite.

Pokemon updated the gyms, today.

I need to look up the information here.
 And the next two.
I like when these large abstract pieces retain the color vibrancy.  There are too many where it all turns into a mush of brown.

Snack time.

Albers.

Rothko.

Blue.
