Easter 7: Strawberries

No pavlova, but I think this came out just fine by itself.  Strawberries are easy, and I added just a bit of sugar to let them macerate while I made the whip cream.  The cream was easy as well.  I used a cup of cream, and just a bit of sugar to make it sweet.  Once it was whipped to a nice consistency, I drizzled over some balsamic vinegar, and then folded that in with a spatula.  I didn't want it overly vinegary, but I wanted that balsamic hint that matches so well with the strawberries.  As I was eating, I thought that maybe tomorrow I should make some black pepper whipped cream, as pepper and strawberries also go well together.
