Tuesday: Q60/All I want to do, is see you turn into, a giant woman

I finished the DLC
Atlantis.

Participated in a coup d'etat to put a human transformed into an Isu on the throne, making her like second in command.

Ambushed this guard who looked very impatient I was late to the trap he was setting.
Perfect parking job of this boat.
That looks familiar.

Tracked down an "abandoned" laboratory.

Where everything I fought in the regular game was made.

So judgement was passed, and Atlantis was destroyed.

Tuesday: Q39/So tired

I don't know why.  I mean, other than the "staying up late playing video games and watching youtube" thing.  No idea what it could be.
I didn't take a picture previously of meeting Grandfather Leonidas?  It was here.
I'm nearing the end of this first part of the DLC, and that means I have to be more careful not to make mistakes.  I think I've set it up to get the romance thing, but we'll have to see.

My house is getting a bit cluttered.

But I paid it off, so that'll change tomorrow.  I think I'm going to move all my cool stuff to a "cool stuff" room.

Saturday: Q36/Braving the wilds.

I had to pick up prescriptions at CVS (I should look into getting them delivered), and decided to try and get some non-perishable stuff from Target.  I danced the cart around, and arrived, only to learn that curbside is only available when you order with the app.  Which sucks.  At least I was able to get bread and bagels from Panera, so I can have lunch next week.

Atalanta.  This is probably a bad time to mention to her that I have her shoes.

Standing on Gods Collection: Hermes.

The game told me to dress up like the bad guys to sneak in and kill people who I'm aligned with.  So I did.  But I didn't have any armor to switch to.
And yes, I know it's a bad idea to kill people you're aligned with.  I had the minimum number of casualties.  Plus, I'm playing Persephone against Hekate against Adonis, with Hermes standing there to catch a lot of the blowback.  Kind of wish they could be less jerks.
Turns out only the horse with wings can jump off anything and survive.  Fire horse?  Just kind of splats into the swamp, and doesn't move anymore.

"That looks like an arm," I said, not noticing the even more creepy stone arm in the background.

Hekate, rocking the pipes.

Wednesday: Q33/I need so many bells.

I want to move everything, connect everything with bridges, and put up so many ramps.

But my turnips aren't cooperating.

Tuesday: Q32/WHAT!?

I'm doing work today, getting things accomplished around telecons, and then I see a note that there's an Act 1 preview for Harrow the Ninth.

So I got it, and just now finished it.  I want the whole book, and am sad that it is being delayed by the *all this*.

I made my own screenshot cheatsheet so I could keep track of all the new characters.
Also it looks like Thursday is my day to sell turnips.

Sunday: Q30/Easter

Another day inside.
The tree across the way is blooming nicely.
I was able to get a last minute order in this morning, so I got to have a wonderful Bunny Day miracle.
I even got the cake!
I braised lamb, so that'll be the leftover for this week.  ALSO CAKE!
THERE IS FRUIT INSIDE THE CAKE!
Also video games.
So many statues of Persephone.

Including giant crying Persephone.
Everything is super high, so it's easy to kick people off.  I had to come down afterwards to loot this guy.
And then I looked up in the sky.
WTF IS THAT?
No clue.  Let's see if the story explains it.

This bear is relevant for link 1.

Saturday: Q29/OK, that's enough "outside" for me.

It's been forever since I left, so I wanted to drive some.  I also planned to get Five Guys, because I wanted food I didn't have to make myself.  It was kind of a disaster.  Everyone out is awful at driving, like the virus is somehow going to jump out and make you crash unless you're driving 15 mph under the speed limit.  Ugh.

Then I couldn't make any calls when I got to Five Guys (because either my phone is donked or the signal there is terrible), so I had to wait for someone to come out to tell them I had a pick up order.  But it then took them like 15 minutes to actually make the food and bring it out, so what was even the point of ordering ahead of time?

And package A that was supposed to be delivered today is mysteriously missing, and package B was left at the bottom of the stairs, because that's a place I'll never see my package if I'm staying home and not hunting down packages.

Plus, I was able to get a Wegmans order placed, but then they delayed it six times during the four hour block, and cancelled it at 8pm instead of rolling it over to another day.  So now I get to play the grocery roulette again.

But I did finish Assassin's Creed's first DLC.  I'm glad it's over, because it was not a great storyline.

This is what I've been saying the entire game.  Let me put all my people on the boat, because I know they're safe if they're on the boat.  The boat is indestructible, and filled with dozens of people who can protect them.
And again, this happens all the time on land.
But I have to clean up cultists.
This general wants me to destroy the enemy fleet, and kindly warped my boat just offshore.
This guy wanted to talk, because he's a writer.  Also a cultist.
So he ended up dead.

And then battle against the final villain.

Return home to say goodbye forever to dead husband.
And then it was time for the new adventure of the Second DLC.

Where the possibly virtual realization of a not-quite divine ancient being is leading the way.
As you do.

There were lots of time travel shenanigans back and forth to the present day.
Eventually sending me back to Serifos.
"Hey, this is where I ruined a wedding!"

"Oh, wait, is this also..."

Yep.  This is the place I couldn't save the girl so she now lives with her mud friends.

But then to freaky future zone.

A title card.

And standing on Persephone's head.
Tomorrow, I'll take a closer look at things in the afterlife.

Thursday: Q27/Finishing loose ends

And trying to order lamb for this weekend.  It's a challenge.

I finished a lot of the quests in Assassin's Creed Odyssey today.  After the last time, I found out in cutscenes that I was now living with Natakas and Darius, and had had a son, Elpidios.  Then, some crazy people attacked, killing Natakas, and kidnapping Elpidos, because they apparently want some of the murder I've been dishing out around Greece.

So I ignored that questline, and went to do other stuff, because I never like Natakas, and had far more invested in Phoibe than this kid I only have seen for like 30 seconds.

First up, dealing with Aspasia.
Huh.  Interesting strategy.

Not exactly the same one we've used previously, but it lets me check that entry off in Wednesday's table.

Aspasia kind of leaves with a "I've not learned any lessons, so next time I'm just going to do the same thing, but better!"  I kind of wish she'd tried a little bit more to be not evil, but what can you do.  Kiss her after your husband is murdered and kid stolen, I guess.

And then smash her shiny pyramid.  NO SHINY PYRAMIDS FOR REGULAR PEOPLE!
That completes the tree of baddies I started fighting 219 days ago.
Met up with the gang back in Athens.

Come on.  I have that marked down with three 💗s.
Selfie time with the team:
Alkibiades one last time.
Socrates and Aristophanes.
Completing that quest gave me one more, with Herodotus.  Who wanted to return to Athens.
Are you fucking kidding me, Herodotus?  This side of Piraeus isn't good enough?  We have to sail around to the other?  FINE.
After we said our goodbyes, I noticed a dead guy behind me.  I suspect that's my fault from a previous visit?
With that done, I returned to the new questline.
Murdering the crap out of a whole new bunch of assholes.
