Sunday: Anchorage!

First off, Alaska Airlines has better seats than United.  They have at least an extra inch or two in legroom, making it not so awful to sit there for a six hour flight.  Plus, they have POG on their flights connecting to Hawaii, and POG is delicious.
This "blueberry macadamia" cookie was not so delicious.  Still, free cookie.

Land!
After napping all day after landing (because my hour nap turned out to be about six times longer than planned), I was heading out to register for the conference and check out the booth.  On the way, I ran into my boss, who had the booth bundle.  We set it up, which was an easier task than I expected.  It's convenient that it only has one way to be arranged.

I then walked back to the hotel, checking out the busy metropolitan area that is downtown Anchorage.  I did spot a couple of the restaurants I'd listed last week, so I have a better idea of where things are.
You can see the mountains in the background behind the hotel.
