Although it wasn't totally clear if it would work out, Dan was visiting the island today. The beginning plan today was to meet up at the Bubba Gump with him and some of his friends who are moving to Molokai. However, they were having some sort of trouble with their details, so they weren't going to make it. I then braved the wilds of Waikiki (and the thorn nest of the Hilton Hawaiian Village), picked up Dan, and diverted to a better seafood restaurant.
Nico certainly makes better poke than Bubba Gump. |
I went with the special mahi mahi. I could have used a bit more sauce, and the fish was a bit dry. Maybe we should have tried Uncle's instead. |

- Last line in italics? No.
- Writer writes instead of fleeing? No.
