Friday: I am glad it is the weekend, as I am done with this week.

And I didn't take any pictures, so I guess I am going to use the gif I made this evening.
I saw this on twitter, found the original image, and then quickly remapped the frames to clearly illustrate the parabola.  I thought about tracing it out fully, but ended up being too lazy to bother.
TldrL:

  • Title:  Through the Gates of the Silver Key
  • Date:  1933
  • Summary:  This finally finishes the story of Randolph Carter.  In the last unnecessary sequel, Carter disappeared, but instead of going back to the dream world, he actually traveled out of space and time, discovering that a person at a given age is just a projection of a hyper-person existing in a higher dimensional space.  So he has his hyper-person manifestation reproject him into an alien form in the distant past.  Unfortunately, before starting this travel, he forgot the notes with the deprojection code, so he has to use magic and alien technology to travel back to Earth in alien form.  He spends two years trying to research the deproject spell in disguise, until finally going to a meeting with a friend who is holding his estate.  The entire story takes place in that meeting.  The one racist jerk that wants to declare Carter dead gets angry, and attacks him, knocking off his mask (which kills the jerk because it's scary).  This causes the alien's original personality to take control, and it vanishes by traveling through a magic clock.
  • Real Villain:  Sequels.
  • Last line in italics?  No.
  • Writer writes instead of fleeing?  No.
  • Rating:  4/10.
  • Read it:  Here.
Tomorrow starts another running theme segment of tldrL.
