Wednesday: Ignoring a variable is a problem

Ignoring two is even worse.  In any case, I at least seem to understand the simulated data I ran yesterday.

Tomorrow is totally a work from home day, because trying to get anything done at work was just an exercise in futility.  I was able to fix one problem, largely by ignoring "how things should work" and just manually "fucking work you stupid thing."  The anger was definitely heat related.

• This was kind of a depressing email to read.  Also: note to future people writing emails: Do not quote verbatim from your graduate program guide.  Some phrases sound like they were formed by committee, and selective googling will point out who you are, despite how much intermediate commentators may try to keep you anonymous.
