This is just stupid.

"She explained she had nearly died in the crash and that the Talosians, who had never seen Humans, had had no guide in repairing her smashed body. Hunchbacked, old and ugly, severely scarred, but in good physiological health, she preferred to retain her illusion of beauty on Talos IV rather than live among Humans and die away."

I mean, it's not like we dig bones up out of the ground, and stick them together and know about fucking dinosaurs, right?  This means that fancy smart telepathy aliens aren't actually that smart, are they?  Did they just look at all the broken bones and think, "Yeah, I'm sure these sharp shattered bones are how they're supposed to be."  "Hey, Frank!  Do you think she has a hump?"  "Probably.  We don't have humps of course, and have bilateral symmetry, but she's probably all donked up naturally.  Just shove some shattered bone fragments up next to her neck, and we'll call it a day."

I know I've made fun of TNG multiple times.  It's still vastly better than the crap TOS put out.
