Sunday: This entire thing is basically "Who the fuck cares?"

Part 1: Lunch and Adventure

I woke up today not knowing what I wanted for lunch.  After random thoughts, I remembered that when I was a kid, we went to Red Lobster, and they had nachos with shrimp.  This put the idea for fish into my head, and so this happened:
Yep.
While eating, I remembered that I haven't driven around the island in a long time.  So I skipped my usual wander around the pier,
Although I did stop to watch this plane taking off.
And came up with the plan to drive on all the highways in order:
As shown.
I couldn't take pictures of everything, but I saw a car with a "SCOOBDO" licence plate, a chicken,

Windmills.
I eventually made it over to the Kaneohe scenic point:

Mosaics don't work well when the stupid sun is in the way.
It's much greener there than it was last time I took pictures there.
There were even purple flowers.

Part 2: Milo Manara

Did I mention this Milo Manara thing before?  I don't see anything immediately on searching, so I'm guessing no.

First, I think this is a better picture, because there's this whole Hawkguy thing about dumb art.

Second, if you google image search Milo Manara, and then use the gimp to circle in red each image that comes up that could be considered porn,

Like so.
You come up with 13/25 images matching that criterion.  This is probably not the best person to do a cover for a comic you're going to want to sell to everybody.  I would have thought this would be like rule #1 of "how to not run your company like a dummy."

Third, that link in point one reminded me that MM did do a series/whatever of Human History that's pretty good, if you go in expecting that there's probably going to be some porn bits, because of point two.

Fourth, this in turn reminded me of this video by Zbigniew Rybczyński of Bolero played over a stylized history of the Soviet Union, portrayed on a staircase that appears pseudo-infinite due to video effects.

Fifth, because this is a link that could probably go down in the link section, but since the images are also NSFW, it might as well go here, this link.  I'm reasonably sure that La Vie Parisienne wasn't an all-ages periodical, so the fact that they had these covers is a bit different.  I'm also somewhat surprised that there isn't a compilation volume of Chéri Hérouard's art available.

Part 3: Team Rocket

They're totally not related.  In fact, they're the first couple that I learned had their own shipping name (RocketShipping, which to be fair, is a good pun).
Which was helped when Nintendo allowed this to be included in The Electric Tale of Pikachu.
And yes, that's a picture of Jessie pregnant, and yes, I knew it existed before I started this blog post.

Part 4: Links.
