Cats are dumb. |
- Everyone saw this, right? Sequestration is by far the dumbest thing anyone has ever come up with. I wish legislators had to have a functional knowledge of math and economics before they could get the job.
- The NRA.
- Gee, it's almost as if Walmart is concerned that they're going to make less money because a lot of people are poor, so they have decreased demand. If only there was some way the government could prop up demand. Like, if they could fund a lot of projects to dump money into the economy. If only.
- It's good to see that rich people are still getting more richer. It must be hard when the president is such an obvious communist nazi, and keeps stopping them from creating jobs.
A break because Dan suggested that this image was NSFW:
My initial thought was, "that's that electric sheep pokemon, right?" Turns out yes, I did vaguely remember my new generation pokemon, and that is a Mareep. The similar ears and tails suggests the yellow one is an evolved version, even though I haven't seen this episode (I don't think). Turns out I was right and that's an Ampharos, the final evolved form of Mareep.
We now delve into the dark science that is Pokemon breeding. I'm not kidding, there's an actual huge article about this on bulbapedia, because you can actually do this in the games. I'm not up on all the details, but I vaguely knew that you either needed a ditto (hence all the pokememe jokes) or two pokemon from the same egg group. I think it's true that an evolution group is all in the same egg group, but I'm not totally sure. Mareep and Ampharos are, the Monster group. Therefore, according to my understanding of the wiki page, this gives a 49.5% chance of producing an egg (I'm assuming these are wild pokemon, and therefore have different ID numbers). The egg would produce another Mareep, as that's the start of the evolution chain. Don't worry, I checked the list of baby pokemon. Mareep isn't there, so this isn't as creepy as it could be.
And now you know more about Pokemon sex than you ever thought was coded into the game kids are playing everyday.
