Friday: That time of the year again.

I wasn't sure what I wanted for dinner, and then it hit me.

Kalbi makes everything better.

Even when it's fast food kalbi.  Also: I should have gotten the mini.  I guess I know what I'm having for dinner tomorrow, too.  

I also saw this gecko when I was parking my car.

Tonight was also the start of the Inhumans show.  Short version: it is not good.  Long version (live notes):

• If there was that much shooting on Oahu, it'd be in the news for like, forever.
• What happened to the moon rover?  Duh, meteor that kind of looks like a hoof.  Real scientists aren't going to think "hoofed dude stomped on it."
• Black Bolt: "How did I get to be king, when I'm pretty bad at this?"
• Why is there scarcity/castes?  They've been there forever.  Have they not learned about family planning?  Donald Duck knows about family planning!
• Maximus: "Hey, want to do some treason with me?"
• The murder team on Earth is working with Maximus?  That's just dumb.
• Lockjaw is great.  Can we have "Lockjaw Adventures" instead?
• The Medusa hair special effects are pretty bad
• This is really badly written.  Like, wow.

Ok, break to talk about this.  Maximus is doing his whole coup thing, and when he finds Medusa, and she's like, "you're gross and stupid, and I hate you."  He shaves her head with clippers.  "That's silly," you say, but it's more than that.  Medusa's power is that she can control her hair and make it move, and she's super strong because of that.  This is one of the Women in Refrigerators things.  It's shitty and lazy, and is a sign the writer doesn't know what to do with the characters.  Medusa can't be strong and powerful?  WTF?

This annoyed me so much that I had to look up who wrote this crap.  Scott Buck, who apparently was the guy who made Iron Fist, which the internet also pretty much universally hated.  Maybe he shouldn't be allowed to do things anymore.  Also nice that when you google "Scott Buck is a bad writer", you see that that's kind of the main opinion.

• Black Bolt is not a great actor
• Oh, and now you depower Lockjaw?  Fuck you, shitty writers.  Fuck you.
• Come on:
• Science lady: "Here's the plot, and what's going on."
• Science lady's boss: "That's stupid."
• Science lady: "You're stupid!" (Not really, but she should have.  Best non-Lockjaw character.)
• Oh yeah, why did "sees the outcomes of things" guy mess up?  That's like his whole deal.  Is nobody on the good guy side allowed to have powers?
• It's going to take those guys like an hour to get to Makapuu from downtown.
• So traitor lady is getting killed this episode, right?
• Sassy wall guy is silly.  http://marvel.wikia.com/wiki/Eldrac_(Earth-616)  That's stupid.
• Wtf is Medusa doing there?  That's like the opposite of where she needs to be.
• Traitor lady is also way the fuck in the wrong place.
• BB has been hiding in that alley for how long?  Now he's going shopping?  OMG THIS SHOW IS BAD.  Well, stealing.  Because he didn't want to wear his fancy clothes?  OTSIB.  Now he's slowly running from the cops?
• Why does this room have convenient gun slits?  Also, aren't those people important?
• Why can't spark girl just brain spark Maximus?  I think Sue Storm did that once.  Invisible bubble in somebody's brain to kill them.  She may have been evil at the time.
• Traitor lady is going to leave a string of dead people, isn't she?  That's "lowkey"?  OTSIB
• Medusa is also super strong, she shouldn't be having this much trouble.  WTF?  
• Ok, stabby Medusa is good.  She would take the knife though.  So she can stab again in the future.  Also, totally called traitor lady dying.
• They didn't search BB and take his space phone?  These are bad cops.
• Why are they mining?  Like, build a farm, dummies.
• What's the plan here, BB?  "Being in jail" is a bad plan, and it's all because you didn't like your fancy clothes.
• Traitor lady doesn't die after being stabbed?  Lame.

Sure, some of that is me complaining about things most people won't notice because they don't know the geography of Oahu.  But there's just so much bad here.  The mining things really bothered me.  I know that's what they do in the comics, but in the comics, they use Alpha Primatives instead of squibs.  That's marginally better, because AP are fine being slaves?  Yeah.  There are so many problems with the Inhumans, that they probably should have sat down and rewritten a lot of things so it made sense.  As it is, the "good guys" look like horrible tyrants, and Maximus like The Cool Revolution.

Then I ate a slice of Slice Cake Chef Made Triple Layer Princess.  It wasn't bad.  There was coconut on the outside.

• This asshole quit so he wouldn't get fired.
• Lynda Carter is wonderful.
• I did not know the story behind the DREAM Act, and that's a shame.  Also a shame: the fact it hasn't been passed yet due to racists.
