Wednesday: I didn't play around with the new computer much today

Mostly because I spent an extra hour at work because I finally sorted out where stuff was being calculated wrong.  I did sort out some stuff with using it to monitor a webcam, and discovered that you can fairly easily write a twitter bot that can handle media posts.  Not that those are at all related.

Plus the government stopped being completely stupid today.

• Huh.  I hadn't heard about this.  I would have thought "low budget electronics that are sold pretty much everywhere, like at airports, because you need headphones and are just going to have to suck it up and spend $10 on something that regularly costs $1."
• No, I'm just kidding, I ended up paying like $30 for those headphones, but they were "skullcandy," so it's totally ok.

• I hadn't seen this before, so maybe you haven't either.  It's kind of depressing on like three levels.
• I really didn't think this Fark had taken this as a direct quote from the article. "He is calling every single one of us to love our neighbor as ourselves, which is a really hard thing to do."  I mean, how much do you have to misunderstand for this to be a problem?
