Monday: Conference Day 1

Talked to a lot of people at the booth, looked at a lot of posters, grabbed a lot of book lists from the publishers.  I didn't see any books that looked particularly good this time, as all the ones that do look interesting are already sitting on a shelf at home.

Also, this thing is the first thing I see when I walk into my hotel room.

I'm unclear if the hotel room/the wall is attempting to tempt me into eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.  In any case, it seems like an odd choice of art.
