Sunday: New year's Eve

I'd like to do a year in review, but I sure too much and my tummy hurts.

Saturday: dumplings

Mostly just making them. We ended up with something like 80 at the end. That works out to about 11 per person tomorrow. Challenge accepted.

I got the spicy chicken instead of the garlic noodles. Both are good.
I thought this weird shine to oil drink was off.

Friday: final shopping, beginning cooking

Since New Year is only a few days away.

Breakfast for brunch, instead of the usual thing.
 I like Rosie.
Marshall doesn't like anything.

Thursday: art museum

SF MoMA again.

 I like art.
 My favorite Ellsworth Kelly.
A cheese plate, outside, where it was cold, between art.
 Art spiders.
The exhibit I was hoping to see.
 More leftovers.
I've finally finished the first omnibus volume of Sandman.

Wednesday: it's late.

 Spying on campers.
 Evolving fighty nuts.
Eating delicious KoJa.

Tuesday, December 26, 2017

Tuesday: a lazy left over day.

Which was good, because everything was tastier today than it was yesterday.  I think the ham just needed time to rest and let some of the extra moisture evaporate.

Also games.
Even more.

Monday: Christmas

An early start due to the holiday, but there cinnamon buns make it better.

 I don't think so, Beau.

Lunch was blts, with super delicious avocado toast.  Then an afternoon of cooking and cleaning and more cooking, with the end result being a ham dinner I didn't take pictures of. Not as successful as the regular turkey things, but it's good to try new things. I liked the braised greens, and although the Mac and cheese separated to much, I think it can be fixed in the microwave with more cheese.

And I caught this guy on my only trip outside today.

Sunday: Christmas Eve

Soup for dinner after planning, final shopping, and our youngest friend waking up and puking.  Hopefully she'll feel better tomorrow.

Saturday: "I just hate the way their burgers taste when you eat them!"

While discussing whether to get in-n-out or Spin pizza for dinner. Soon will, but o didn't take pictures. Partially because I was woken up at 8 am by someone who wouldn't let me sleep in peace. Eventually I gave up and went to go sleep in her bed while she same and played in the living room. That wasn't ideal, add the sun was up and shining in her room.

Brunch was good, and I have leftovers.

Then planning and shopping and wrapping and being tired.
And I finally saw Bluebear again.

Friday: "is that going to be the blog post title?"

Probably if any of us could remember what that was going to be.  Whoops.

We were at Target buying me a new brush since I forgot to bring one.  This one was advertised as having  "Mongolian boar bristles." I laughed it off, but this is a really good brush.
Garlic noodles for dinner.  Sorry we were so late, restaurant staff.
 This guy.
And then we returned home, and I wanted to clean up the mess someone sleepy had made.  I did this just to get things out of the way.

Thursday: it's good I have a blog to tell me what day it is

Airport peanut butter and bacon bagel.
The spawn rates here are crazy.
Star Wars and Chipotle. The question want as good this time. I liked the movie, and now can read Twitter without muting phrases.
 I herd you lik mudkip.

First Groudon raid was successful.

And then sushi for dinner that I didn't take pictures of. Also there are lots of cookies here, which might be my fault.

No captions because captions on phone are hard to format.

Wednesday: these pants are blue.

I thought they were black. Nope. Totally blue. Huh.

Anyway, time to fly to San Francisco.

Tuesday, December 19, 2017

Tuesday: A sad day.

But I was able to finally get a refill authorized for my Humira, so I won't be in pain while on vacation.  Speaking of which, I should pack.

I guess I caught this today.

Monday: Short week.

Eight years ago, I was on Maui.

Sunday, December 17, 2017

Sunday: I probably should have been more productive, but instead I got a malasada.

Because Julie was talking about doughnuts on Twitter.

First I had to have a real lunch, because grownup.  Kono's is good.

It was busy, but it's always busy at Leonards.  I got the haupia, because haupia is good.
I ate it in my car, because that was the easiest place.  I'd forgotten how messy the filled ones are.

Saturday: Ramen

But they don't have kotteri anymore, which is sad.

Spicy tan tan is the next best thing.

Friday, December 15, 2017

Friday: Ugh.

Today I got two pieces of bad news.  One of which is probably just going to annoying (and slightly painful) over vacation, and the other one that is significantly worse.

The number of permutations I need to put here is ridiculous.

Wednesday, December 13, 2017

Wednesday: I have to get up early tomorrow.

Because they're doing that "turn off the water" thing all morning.  Ugh.

But I caught this friend.

To earn a badge.

And then got cheese fries.  The fries could have been crispier, and I don't understand how they go from a billion degrees to cold mush so quick.

  • Well then.  I guess we don't need to worry about sorting out that set of allegations after all.
  • Because of Gabby, I now need to have a "favorite comic character: under whatever the minimum age of Squirrel Girl and Hawkeye is, because they're about the same age" category, and I need to see how many volumes of this are available on kindle.  Probably all of them.
  • I retweeted this today, because long-hair Ash looks cool.  Reading this story, it might have actually been long-hair female Ash?  Whatever.  Retweet stands.
  • This is the greatest thing I saw today.
