Friday: I need a good weekend.

Partially so I can rest and try to get my joints to be less jerks.  I'm still hopeful that my drugs will be delivered next week, and I can finally get everything under control again.  It being super cold this week isn't helping either.

At least the work demo went well, everyone was happy, and then we all went out to dinner as a group.  Woo team success.
I guess this weekend has been super bowl weekend a lot?

Thursday: An ok day.

Tomorrow is demo day, and I got all my code in in time.  I also talked to the doctor people, and they should be doing my prescription, so hopefully that'll be sorted out by next week.

And this mostly is on the way towards working.  It's just coding up algorithms and making it "user friendly" at this point.

Wednesday: Super sleepy.

I think it's just me crashing after having coffee today, and then eating dinner late.

It was the first snowy day I've seen in years.

Tuesday, January 29, 2019

Tuesday: Another good day.

A bunch of stuff done, and now tomorrow I'll have to figure out what to work on.

Decade old moon.

Monday: I'm annoyed that we don't already have a function to deal with this issue.

At least the second data release was finally published.

Sunday, January 27, 2019

Sunday: The laziest day ever.

Which is fun, even if it's not technically productive.

I did make pork belly.

Saturday, January 26, 2019

Saturday: I had a plan for today.

Get ramen.
I went with katsudon instead.
Get pork belly so I can cook dinner tomorrow.

Build the bookshelf I bought last week.

Tomorrow, I want to move the bookshelf to where it needs to go, and then unpack more books.  Also: cook pork belly.

I guess this is a piggy weekend.

Friday: Getting everything done on time is cool.

This week has been weirdly productive.  It's just not a normal feeling.
Neither is catching a shiny on the first throw after a simple raid right next to work with a bunch of other people who make it super easy.

Thursday, January 24, 2019

Thursday: Every week should be a four day week.

I've just been way more productive this week.  I think having three days off helps to reduce the work stress.

What the donk is this crap?

Wednesday, January 23, 2019

Wednesday: Ugh. Productive days mean getting home later than I wanted, and being super tired.

I'm super tired, but if things go well, I'll have completely finished four things that are on the list to be done by next Friday.  So that's good.

I also sat down and added functions to tool code that I've been wanting for awhile.

There was also an easy raid to do.

Tuesday: Back to work.

And it was cold.  And I had a bunch of work stuff to do.  And some of that work stuff was just being a jerk all day until I finally tracked down the issue.  And I kind of with I solved math problems more formally than "I'm pretty sure it's doing this, and so I think your fitting code is essentially fitting 'linear' segments to the curve, with the slope of each linear segment equal to the maximum gradient of the fitting curve, which you can calculate by setting the second derivative equal to zero."

I ordered Indian take out for dinner, because I really wanted Masala Wok, but that isn't an option, but at least I have lunch for tomorrow.

Monday: MLK Day.

Two years ago.
I have not been super productive this weekend, but I did do laundry and dishes and collect recyclables today.  I probably should have built that bookcase today.  I also probably should have organized the other bedroom so I'd have a place to put it, too.

Sunday: The riddle of queso

It's challenging, because it is easy to make, and yet you probably shouldn't eat a giant bowl of queso in one sitting.  Of course, now I'm hungry again, and keep thinking about it, sitting in my fridge, waiting for me to eat it.

And that's pretty much how my today went.  I woke up, I watched a bunch of youtube stuff, pushing my watch later list under 250, made queso, ate queso, watched Supergirl, played video games.  It was an excellent day, although I probably should have done laundry, and I probably should have put together the bookshelf I got yesterday.

My phone can't really capture the dynamic range needed for an eclipse, but there was an eclipse tonight.

Saturday: Three day weekend!

It feels like it's been forever since I had one of these.  I think that's partially because I'm still used to the Hawaii calendar with days off every month.

I went with burger and tots.
Partially because I wanted to go to Target to look at warm clothes.  I bought some, and a bookcase.  So that's my plan for tomorrow sorted out.  Originally this was because it was supposed to be snowy this weekend, but I guess it's going to be warm and boring instead.

Friday: It was snowy today.

But not snowy enough for a snow day.

I also completed a mission and caught this guy, which completes my legendary beast collection.
Today was spent fighting rebasing.  For hours.  Horrible rebasing.  Hours of it.  Still, in the end, I'm pretty sure the final pull requests are ready for review and merging.  Plus, my "next thing" is already done, because it was trivial after the mess that this one was.

Thursday: You better show up, snow.

Stupid jerk snow taunting all week long.  This weekend is probably going to be snowy, and it's a long weekend, so I should probably come up with a plan.  Currently that plan is "cover up with blankets and migrate from bed to couch and back again."

I finally got this moon guy.

Wednesday: Bun bun bunny bun bun bun bun.

A bunny!
Outside of my apartment, waiting to nibble the grass as I got home.  I like having animals around.

This guy finally showed up near work, instead of hiding far away.
I also sorted out the big remaining issue at work when someone else pointed out that I have to have a thing be set to the same value in two places.  I don't get why we need to have the value in two places, except so that when the values are compared, they can fail if they don't match.  Whatever.  Once that was done, the other issue just magically worked when I did a "let's just hack together a thing to work with tomorrow."  Except for the magic work stuff.  It was nice.

Tuesday: Avocado toast

I didn't know what to have for dinner, and I had avocado left over, and I was hungry.
And then I ate three more slices two hours later, and called that "dinner."

Monday: This was convenient

Sharpedo was in the gym nearby.  I assumed it would be easy enough to defeat solo.
It was.

Sunday: Board game day

Spirit Island.
It's a bit more complicated than I really like games to be, but it was pretty fun.  It doesn't hurt that I was able to murder a pile of colonists with a tsunami.  Stupid colonists coming to my island, donking up my wetlands with their stupid colonies.  We won as well, which is nice.
